We have taken the principle of ‘Track and Trace’ and through our in-house team
of developers, we have taken it to its logical conclusion.
There are two versions of GBA Loadtrak scheduled for release in January of 2009:
GBA Loadtrak Light allows any customer to input their transportation requirements
via the Loadtrak website. Subject to acceptance of requirements, they receive an
email confirmation of the request, along with a one-time-use key. This key allows
the customer to live-track their load via the website, from before collection,
through to delivery.
The full version of GBA Loadtrak requires the customer to set up an online account.
As with the light version, the customer enters the transportation requirements online.
During account setup, if we are provided with a list of collection/delivery addresses
and/or part numbers, we are able to make the process of entering transportation
requests far easier.
Features for the initial release of GBA Loadtrak:
Live track any active load
View all active loads on a single map, which automatically updates load positions
View details and key events for each job
View previous job details at any time
Features currently under development for subsequent releases include:
KPI reports
Environmental reports
Live Dashboarding, allowing at-a-glance feedback with regard to
load progress / KPIs and service levels
CMR / POD copies published online upon completion of the job
