GBA Services is a family business, providing logistic solutions for our customers whether that be by road, sea or air.  We are currently located in 18 sites throughout the UK and Europe and have seen massive growth over the last year.  As a result of this growth we are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our growing business to-

 

  • Help ensure all deliveries are made within the correct time

  • Ensure each load is monitored and updates are sent to the customers.

  • To assist with customer/driver queries in a helpful, professional manner

  • Work within a small team providing smooth handovers to and from other team members.

 

At GBA we pride ourselves on the service we deliver to our internal and external customers, so it is important you have a positive and polite manner along with excellent customer service and communication skills.

 

Drivers make up a large percentage of our workforce, therefore it is essential you communicate with them effectively and provide clear and concise instructions.

 

This is an exciting and challenging role and you will need to be able to multitask, prioritise your own workload and communicate in a professional way. We use a range of Microsoft products throughout the business, so a good working knowledge is definitely an advantage.

 

Culture fit is vital to this role and we are looking for people who share our values, so having a background in Logistics is desirable.
